Mixed Bag 20 - SciFi and Fantasy Stuff

Another collection of random miniatures that were painted since the last time we've done one of these. Some were painted late 2025 and a couple were painted early 2026.

First up, A couple of simple olde metal igures that I think were from a Ral Partha or Grenadier King Kong set. I believe they were meant to be big doors- I decided they would work well as simple flat rafts. They're versatile enough to be used in several settings.

Next, a touchup on a mini painted back in 2021. I didn't like how dark it was, so I hopefully managed to brighten it up a bit. I was tempted to reposition his head, but resisted it. That might happen sooner rather than later.

Thirdly, one of several plastic Sedition Wars blast doors. I think it came out okay, but if I'm going to paint up any more of these I need to settle on a quicker method.

Next is a simple not-Jem hadar (the alien soldiers for the Dominion from Deep Space 9) from one of the Reaper Bones Kickstarters. He was painted quick and dirty to get him out of the way.

Speaking of "quick and dirty," a rogue Veer-myn (missing a tail) was found someplace he shouldn't be. His paintjob was also pretty quick and dirty. This guy joins those already painted. He might be the last one I've got.

And the final piece is a resin dragon nest that has been primed since the late 1990s. I found it in a box (possibly with the Veermyn?) and decided it either needed to be painted or tossed at a wall. I guess I made the right choice. It's a nice little scatter terrain piece.
