Another Wrath of Kings miniature that I prepared and started back in 2024. This was back when I was really psyched for Hametsu. I'm still interested, but it's been a bit since I've been able to play any games. This big guy was one of the first minis in my extensive stash that I thought might be good for the demons in that game. A lot of the Wrath of Kings minis are pretty good sculpts, but the material isn't the best plastic- it's harder to clean off mold lines like the early Mantic 'restic' was. He could also work well in a "Reign in Hell" warband.
Several of the Nasier faction miniatures that are sculpted in a style that reminds me of Mike Mignola's art style. That influenced the colors for this guy, I thought of Hellboy and wanted to work on some red skin. I did not realize until later, when he was almost finished, that the colors I was using were very similar to the official paint scheme on the cards. I think it came out pretty good- especially the hair and horns.
