Robots and not-Cybermen

The sexy female iBot from Antenociti's Workshop.

From Reaper's Chronoscope, this little guy will make a good robot civilian or sidekick for some sci-fi adventurer.

A slightly converted Dreadball robot player with a Dreamforge Stormtrooper weapon. I got the idea from somewhere on the net, thanks to whoever that was!I'll probably do more of these.

Another idea from someone on the net, not-Cybermen from the plastic Void 1.1 box set of plastic minis. I gave them an alternate head from the Wargames Factory Shock Troopers that looks kind of ominous. A simple paint job of silvers and the Biotronics were born.

The Biotronics in action against the D1Ks (not-Daleks) above and some time-tripping adventurers below.

And yesterday I got my Macrocosm Malignancy (not-Genestealer Cult) minis from their Kickstarter. I'll probably be getting some test figs painted up soon.

Tech Wizard. Schoolboy Wizard, and the Beats Masta

These 2 are part of WizarDecember week 4 over at Dead Dick's Tavern. Above is a slight conversion of a Scibor Miniatures figure to make him sort of a Tech-Wizard for my not-Adeptus Mechanicus army project. And below we have a Reaper schoolboy mini that I decided would work as a wizard since his RPG character is the wizard Palmyricus the Perfidious.

And finally, another spaceport denizen- the Beats Masta, street performer.
A view of his spilled energy drink.

6 Similar But Very Different Minis

Sort of a Sci-Fi theme with all these guys, but not quite.

For week 2 of WizarDecember over at Dead Dick's Tavern (http://angrypiper.com/gaming/) we have a Reaper Chronoscope figure- some alien cosmic wizard.

Another Colony 87 figure, this time the not-Slann who is really cool.

A couple of generic sci-fi types here. Above from CP Models and below from Antenociti's Workshop.

Hasslefree's Alice- a mini I had partially painted for at least 3 years but couldn't get up the courage to finish until now. Not too bad.

And finally a Steampunk villain from Reaper's Chronoscope.

Space Wizard, 2 Aliens, and Villain Chick

From the Colony87 Kickstarter- I decided to paint the Space Merchant as a Space Wizard because he looks like a wizard guy, from space.
I painted this one as part of WizarDecember over at Dead Dick's Tavern (http://angrypiper.com/gaming/).

A Hasslefree mini (Morgan) slightly converted by removing her gun and making it a cellphone. She is now a civilian or a sneaky villain calling in a killer satellite to destroy the heroes...

Finally, 2 of the alien travelers from Zombiesmith to help continue to populate the spaceport.

Some Grymn Troopers and Their Dog

I absolutely love the Grymn Troopers from Hasslefree Miniatures. I've had a bunch of them waiting to be painted for years but have only painted 2 before now because I was still not sure how I wanted to paint them. I think I've decided on the main colors for the rest now and the rest will hopefully be ready to go sooner rather than later.

And here's Pugsford, a pack dog for the Grymn. I can't remember where I got the idea, but it turned out pretty good and I have a few more of this Mantic Bulldog that I need to add some bits to for more equipment.

Above we have the previous 2 Grymn that I painted to test the scheme(way too long ago). Below we have some olde VOID marines that the Grymn will ally with (they've all got a similar color scheme which was the plan all along as far as anyone knows)>
