Col. Mackinac and Purple Space Girl

A couple of pulpy/retro sci-fi figures painted at a remote location and then finished off back at the painting table.

This Space Cadet girl is from the recent Star Schlock Astrogards Kickstarter. All the miniatures from the Kickstarter seem really smooth and I wasn't happy with her until I finished the paintjob. I wanted to make her a real space girl so she's purple. Now she's ready to go on adventures...in space.

From Pulp Alley comes a new official member of  1930s Prolix Associates pulp crew, Col. Mackinac. I've had this guy for a long time and pulled him out when I started working on getting a pulpy group together. He was a pleasant figure to paint and I think he came out pretty good.
