Bakka Scholar - Michka l'Aartoll

Michka l'Aartoll is widely considered the premiere scholar of Great Bakka, the Dragon Cosmic, yet he is not an adherent to any of the varied religious traditions based on Bakka worship. While participating in an archeological expedition on some far-flung moon, Michka lost his right arm in a digging accident. The expedition's doctor did the best they could with what was available. Michka has come to accept his primitive cybernetic replacement, though his overall temper has roughened from the experience.

The base figure is an old metal Warmachine Trollblood Stone Scribe. The only conversion work done was to remove his right arm (with the big axe) and replace it with an old MicroArt Studios cyber arm. Why? Why not, it seemed like the most direct way to turn Michka into a sci-fi mini who would fit in at the Tech Bazaar.

I wanted to practice my tartan painting for a couple of other projects, so Michka got a passable version of a tartan. His hood and pants needed to use a couple of recently acquired lighter colors just to see how they would turn out. I like them. Instead of a regular dirt base, I used one of the Star Wars Legion fancy 28mm bases (I recently found out they are no longer making these!).

Overall I like how Michka has turned out, I think he'll fit in with other denizens of the Tech Bazaar. Now I need to figure out what to do to his companion in the blister pack...
