Tech Bazaar 20- Felopian Utility Drone

This year's Trash Bash International group build contest was based on any kind of soap container with a theme of "utility."

I used a little body wash bottle from the hotel at Adepticon earlier this year. What else was used? Check put the details on this WIP picture. 

It was a pretty simple construction with a lot of superglue and baking soda to stick everything together.  I decided on the big zip ties so the guitar string flightstand would have somewhere to be secured to.

For the paint scheme, I wanted something simple since the Utility Drone will be part of the Tech Bazaar. I first did a couple of layers of darker orange. Then some lighter greys up to a blueish grey.

For the stripes I returned to my favorite aqua blue and outlined it with some red. The Felopian atmosphere contains clouds of gases  that these stripes help the Drone blend in with.

Then came the weathering steps to make it look like something that would be found in the Tech Bazaar. A tiny torn bit of blister pack foam dipped in rust paint and metallic paint to give some more weathering across the Drone. 

Here we see the Felopian Utility Drone helping the Cthood Maintenance Team perform some maintenance around the Tech Bazaar.
