Tech Bazaar 19- The Workshop

From lots of trash comes the latest Tech Bazaar piece, the Workshop. It's not so clear in some of the pictures below that the workshop is a more regular red color than the rusty red of the larger base. Lighting for such a big piece was not cooperative.

The base is from a corrugated plastic yard sign. It seems pretty sturdy and it hasn't warped any during construction or painting.

The Workshop itself is another single serve cottage cheese container. The decor is a mix of scratchbuilt workbench (plasticard) and model kit bits (the computer terminal). The thing on the right side of the entrance is a shoelace end. The engines outside fo the Workshop are a GW bit and a modified cheap plastic action figure weapon.

The long strip is part of an old booklight meant to be some sort of high tech something. The little raised square part is a sour cream lid- I presume it's for things to rest on that might be moveable during any gaming.

The 'smokestack' and 'generator' are a gluestick and some plastic weird thing that looked cool.

Belowwe have the Stoltimoinas & Pytzee crew hanging out at their playset Workshop with a skimmer vehicle to be worked on. The Workshop's red looks closer to reality in these pics.

As I was finishing the painting for the Workshop I began wandering into thoughts of building a slightly smaller extension on another corrugated plastic board. We'll see what comes of that. I really need to get an area to set up the entire Tech Bazaar project progress so far. Hopefully sometime before the end of the year.
