The Wurmblud Warband part 1

The Wurmblud are not for any specific game use- they could be just random dungeon creatures or mutant beasties for some sci-fi gaming or even a demon warband for Reign in Hell. They came together because it was an interesting idea to me to have a lot of wormy things in a similar color scheme. Most of the minis are from the Heresy Miniatures monster Kickstarter.

But first, these three are from a different Kickstarter, Space Cadet Away Missions. They were the first to be painted as a test of colors to use on the rest. I then promptly changed the basic scheme to a darker more red scheme. Below these provide some trouble for the Scroll Traveller.

These two more sluggy guys got slightly different colors to help distinguish them from each other. 

This caterpillar-like guy is maybe my favorite of this batch. His squirmy body is measuring out your doom!

This chubby guy is pretty cool too, I think he just ate something. Or maybe he's getting ready to spit some acid. Below we see these 4 gribblies bringing together a Heru and Typhon in their hatred of killer worms.

Finally is the first of a handful of Maggotmen. I really like these creepy things and can't wait to paint the rest of them. I'm not sure if I love the purple skin but it came out pretty good. Below, this guy may be a fan of the Posthuman Partygirl- or he wants to ingest her because he's really hunger.

There are a handful of figures that will 'finish' the Wurmblud Warband off, but there could be some Reaper Bones minis that might fit in well with the worm-y theme...
