Junktober 2025 - Rust Spiders

A last gasp from the Junktober 2025 prompts, but also collateral hobby from the Project Servitor... From the Automaton sprue, three little mechanical bugs that I've decided are Rust Spiders, because the Tech Bazaar needed even more bizarre denizens. These fit the Junktober prompts of ITSY BITST and (retroactively) RUSTY. 

I used some recently crackly earbud cords cut down to fit on the bases as -- something. They might be Rust Spider webbing (perhaps they emit a low level signal that somehow attracts rust) or they may just be some random power cables. This 30mm base got 2 spiders and an interesting olde Lego piece that looks even cooler rusted up.

I thought that their abdomens needed to have a bright stripe (there IS a raised stripe on the mini). Thus a good bright red was chosen Since there are 3 of these on each sprue there will be more Rust Spiders coming sooner or later.
