Dame Fiona, Snugg, and Morzon

From the treacherous Ravina Spire comes Fiona and her squire Snugg along with the man-at-arms Morzon. Built soon after Duke Urbarra and Gib, these three are the start of another small techno-feudal warband.

The Squire, Snugg, has the legs of a female Desert Raider by Victoria Miniatures from a scrapper bundle and the body from a Dreamforge Stormtrooper. His arms are from a Frostgrave kit and an old metal GW kit. His head is an old Necromunda Van Saar juve. All this came together nicely to create a good looking little squire. I wanted him to look very young and kind of awkward, I think he turned out that way.

Morzon was in "no way" inspired by Boba Fett from the Mandalorian series (rewatching some of season 2 in preparation for the Asohka series had "no impact" whatsoever). I chopped a Perry Miniatures Afghan figure for the robed legs adding a Dreamforge Stormtrooper torso arms and feet. The blaster is a modified weapon from the Stormtrooper kit and his helmet also comes from there. For his gaffi stick I cobbled together a Skink spearhead and part of an old parking fence kit. The bulbous part near the spike is a little bit of plastic putty. I'm tempted to make a lot more gaffi sticks because they are cool and this one came out okay (plus I have lots of the parking fence bits).

Dame Fiona Trianche is basically a standard build of the Valkir suit with a head from a Raging Heroes Battle Sister. I used some masking tape hardened with super glue for the strap of her 'bolter' and the pose of it turned out better than I expected it to.

As with Urbarra, I scratched some damage into her tabard to give a little more character to her. I felt she needed something else hanging from her armor and decided on a feather for her backpack. I also struggled with what kind of heraldry to give her, finally coming up with a weird symbol that was sort of inspired by a trident. I decided her blade should be blue in the same style as Urbarra's, it's not as striking as his but it came out pretty good.

And here is the current state of the monster hunting party with Fiona and her retinue alongside Duke Urbarra's fledgling retinue.

  1. Love the usage of the Eisenkern minis. Mondragon's sculpts were just so cool.
Really nice mash of parts to make some very characterful team members.
