Tech Bazaar 17- Skimmer Vehicle

From the so-called 'Antares Cornucopia' (more about that here) comes a new addition to the ever expanding Tech Bazaar. This is an Algoryn Avenger Skimmer that comes with a pilot and a gunner who both went into the bits box. 

The base is some random GW scenic base I'm not sure where it came from. There's a sturdy length of metal rod to help with the hover effect. 

The chair was a separate piece of metal that attached to the resin skimmer in a little groove. I used some baking soda with the superglue to help make a stronger bond.

It took some time to decide on a color scheme for the skimmer. It's meant to act as terrain or a civilian vehicle so I wanted some colors that would look rather neutral in either setting. The grey-blue with red accents seemed to go together well. Since it's supposed to be used I tried to do a subtle weathering that turned out okay.

Here we have the Wandering Techpriest and his Apprentice examining the used skimmer as a potential mode of transportation for their wanderings.
