Shefdu at the Gates of Antares (Crisis of Infinite Shefdus)

 

And yet another Shefdu emerges from the scrolls adding to the continuing Crisis of Infinite Shefdus. This Shefdu is accompanied by a self-aware drone oddly named M8BK1 (apparently pronounced "Meightbuki" which sounds a lot like Mabuki, "Shefdu Prime's" protege). 

M8BK1 is a drone from Oathsworn Miniatures that I thought would look cool as Freeborn Shefdu's companion. I wanted M8BK1 to sort of match Shefdu's colors with the purple and blue-green and it turned out okay, not quite what I imagined but there really wasn't a clear vision. Instead of a clear flight stand I opted for a sturdier solid length of metal rod. 

Freeborn Shefdu was converted from a plastic Beyond the Gates of Antares Freeborn Domari figure. The Tethru head comes from Crocodile Games, of course. His pistol was originally in his right hand, but thanks to an abundance of Dreamforge Trooper hands, I was able to switch things up and give him a tablet in a new right hand.  He also has a resin scroll on his hip because it's Shefdu and he started out as a scribe.

The gathered Shefdus greet the Freeborn Shefdu. The mystery deepens.
