I painted this mini for eBay over a year ago as prctice on my tie-dye technique. I've been looking for a reference picture for a long time and finally found it!
Started with a light grey shirt and added the colors in a jagged circle pattern overlapping some of them. Then I went back over with a bit of white to clean up any mistakes and lend to the tie-dye look. I really need to do some more like this because I think it turned out really good.
Well, I enjoy the entire painting of the figure...just a great job. And the tie-dye effect on the shirt is off the chart!
