Third 1:1 Scale Wand - Ziquazzaar

...an unmarked tomb near Damascus. My colleague and I discovered a trove of scrolls and a curious cylindrical box that was vibrating... the artifact within was exquisite. Our research eventually uncovered the name 'Ziquazzaar' which most closely matched what little we knew of the thing... -excerpt from "Modern Wizardy in the Early 1900s" by D. Applegate

This time we have a sleeker, more delicate wand that turned out better than I expected.

The main part of this wand comes from an extra long fancy paintbrush that had lost its usefulness for painting. I always liked the length of it and it was one of the first things I thought would be interesting to make into a wand, now it is one.

There was a little pop bead that I thought would work well as a magic stone at the base of this wand. Then some hot glue, as on the previous wands, to give it a viney/wood look.

The painting was a brown primer followed by a darker brown. The next layers were lighter, almost blonde, brown. The magical tip section was a muted yellow (because of magical reasons). The magical stone in the base got a blue base coat with a couple layers of fancy blue-purple color shifting metallic paint.

And there we are, a third wand to join the slowly growing arsenal.
