Freeborn Synth- Beyond the Gates of Antares

The latest from the legendary Antares Cornucopia, well it's only the head, but I'll count it. It's a Freeborn heavy weapon of some kind. I have painted a few Void 1.1 Syntha Androsynths so I wanted to try something a little different with the few I have left unpainted. I've decide to name him Regnad for secret reasons.

I carefully removed the original head and initially simply glued the new head in place. The fancy Star Wars Legion base got a single pin through one foot to help keep the figure in place. Pretty early in the painting process, there was a mishap that knocked the head off and removed him from the base (expletive deleted). This prompted me to add a pin through the other foot and pin the head on. Let's see him fall apart again, I know someone who can help melt him down if there's any more trouble.

I tried to paint him close to the other Freeborn troops I've already done, but a little different because I view the Freeborn as more individualistic than most of the other Antares factions. The three white bar graphs on the big shoulder pad were an attempt to do some sort of abstract decoration, I guess it's okay. I may have gone a little overboard with the minor battle damage.
