Atomic Punk Demon/Mutant

Originally a companion miniature to the recently finished not-Chiana figure (they were in the Bombshell Miniatures Kickstarter as "Atomic Punks"), this guy's look reminded me of Horridus from the old Savage Dragon comics. I didn't want to paint him like her, though.

He was based on a plain old plastic base when I first prepared him for painting a few years ago. After completing the Chiana, I decided he needed to be on a fancier base. I used some GW plastic bits to make a more interesting base for him.

His colors were inspired by the Metropolitan Prophet. For his spikes/growths, I thought some neon orange would look good. I usually use the old Ral Partha neon green but this time I decided to use the equally olde neon orange. Below is the best picture I could get of the glow in the dark of the spikes.

Here we have the Atomic Punk (I haven't decided on a name for him yet) with some other 28mm figures. Above we've got the Monkey Miniatures guy and a Primaris Marine. Below we have Hansa Nairobi, from Beyond the Gates of Antares, and one of the Heresy Miniatures trenchcoat gangers.

Finally we have the reunion of the Atomic Punks from that Kickstarter.
