Wednesday Wizard 8 - Deep Caller

There was almost not a Wednesday Wizard this week then I came across this guy primed in one of my small Battle Foam boxes with other primed minis. It was after 8PM, but I decided to give it a go. I'm happy with how he turned out using some quick and dirty painting techniques.

This is another of the Hadross minis from the CoolMiniOrNot Wrath of Kings Kickstarter. The Hadross are all aquatic-themed mutants and were the main reason I bought into that Kickstarter. I've been slowly assembling (sometimes converting) and painting these minis.

I had to use a mix of aqua blues fir the skin and his nicely sculpted tentacles- except for the tentacles on his head. For those I went with pink because hair color is usually different than skin color. A simple mix of some yellows for his skirt and I thought the few armor plates would look good in a bone white type of color.

With the Plague knight and a Cursed City hanging skeleton.

The Assemblage Nabu  continues to grow.
