Dark Eldar Raiders- Power Sword and Spear

Two new Dark Eldar miniatures as part of the 'Echoes of Transience' warband. Both were built several years ago to look cool, no thought was given to their effectiveness or legality in the 40K rules because I haven't played an official game since early this century.

This spear-armed guy has some cool color-shifting armor on his left side with the warband's standard "nuclear waste neon green" He's on a 30mm base because hi action pose combined with the big nasty spear needed a little more protection and space.

This sword-armed guy has the standard warband nuclear waste color. I'm still surprised each time I open up one of my ancient Parth Paints and they still work. His power sword has a subtle blue fade effect that is not really apparent from the pictures, but in person it looks pretty nice.

Here we have standard size comparison pictures with various 28mm figures.

And here is the expanding Echoes of Transience warband. These two new guys have brighter armor because of a change to the undercoat. I used a light green over my usual grey prime layer.

Sadly, somehow, the tip of Kruellagh's pistol was broken. I've found a possible replacement part, but it hasn't been pinned in place yet. Tragedy.

  1. Nice work. You've got a rather nice and cohesive looking warband coming together there. Both the colour scheme and the bases tie everything together well.
